President of Malta celebrates SiGMA Group’s 10th Anniversary, praises global impact and commitment to philanthropy
In a speech commemorating the tenth anniversary of SiGMA Group, the President of Malta, H.E Myriam Spiteri Debono, honoured the organisation’s evolution from a small Maltese startup into a global powerhouse in the fields of gaming, emerging tech, digital health, and affiliate marketing.
Reflecting on SiGMA’s impressive growth, the President noted how the company has transformed from a local venture into a major international enterprise. Hosting seven summits annually, SiGMA draws an impressive 80,000 industry delegates and over 1,200 exhibitors, positioning itself as a central force in industry innovation and collaboration. SiGMA’s impact, however, goes beyond business success. The President highlighted that at its core, the company is committed to making a tangible difference in communities around the world, a value exemplified by the SiGMA Foundation.
The SiGMA Foundation: A catalyst for global change
The SiGMA Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm, was praised for its dedication to social responsibility and global outreach. The Foundation’s initiatives raise essential funds to address pressing social issues and uplift vulnerable communities across multiple continents.
“SiGMA’s impact extends far beyond the bounds of business and innovation – it is committed to making a difference in the lives of people and communities around the world.”
Supporting the Malta Community Chest Fund
Following her keynote the SiGMA Founder, Eman Pulis, presented the President with a cheque donating €10,000 to the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF).
Pulis expressed his gratitude, saying, “The work that H.E has been doing for the MCCF inspires us to the extent that today we feel there is no SiGMA without the SiGMA Foundation. Wherever we go you will always feel our charitable arm going full throttle – and for this we would like to make a small gesture of appreciation to the MCCF from the SiGMA Group. We thank you for the support and look forward to seeing this collaboration grow from strength to strength in the coming years.”
The President highlighted the pivotal role that the MCCF plays in Malta, describing the Fund’s efforts to provide specialised medical assistance to those requiring treatment abroad, as well as offering social aid to individuals facing hardship locally. SiGMA’s support of the MCCF demonstrates the company’s commitment to creating a compassionate society, fostering values of solidarity and mutual aid—qualities the President stressed as essential in today’s challenging world.
